Hello everyone! 

My name is Emily Rodriguez and I am a third year at San Diego State Univeristy, studying Cellular and Molecular Biology with a minor in Spanish. Currently, I am in the House Lab studying the role of preadipocytes in ovarian cancer tumor microenvironment. I was appointed to the MARC (Maximizing Access to Research Careers) in September 2024. I plan to enroll in a cellular and molecular biology Ph.D. program upon completion of my undergraduate degree.
